In and around our hotel you can use various facilities that we would like to introduce you to. This makes us the most allround hotel in Leeuwarden. For all the fun activities in the vicinity of Post-Plaza, please refer to the agenda section.

  • Rent our elektric boat for 2 hours and discover Leeuwarden from the water. Do not forget to reserve a lunchbox or snackbox!

CITY BIKES

Leeuwarden and its surroundings are wonderful to explore on our city bikes. If you prefer to use an electric bike, you can also rent one from us!

Reserve your bikes when making your online reservation or at the reception desk.

CITY GARDEN

Our city garden: a wonderful place to stay during the summer months! When the weather is nice, open for breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner. CHEERS!

We love life, our city and our guests. A Hotel & Grand Café where we are busy every day welcoming and unburdening our guests, needs a place where you can work on yourself. 

That is Personal Plaza: a fitness room for our hotel guests and anyone else who wants to work on themselves together with a Personal Trainer (PT).

PARKING

Post-Plaza is located in the center of Leeuwarden. Parking in front of the door is only possible upon check-in and check-out. We would like to refer you to the parking garages around us.

- Hoeksterend parking garage: Hoeksterpad 3, 8911 JV Leeuwarden. (including 76 charging stations)

- Zaailand parking garage: Zaailand 5, 8911 BL Leeuwarden.

Once you have parked your car, you will not need it anymore, as everything is within walking distance or can be reached by rental bike.

Do you want to see Leeuwarden from the water on a beautiful day in an awesome sustainable electric Post-Plaza boat? Sail through the beautiful canals of Leeuwarden. If you also want to enjoy 2 hours of boating through the beautiful canals of Leeuwarden during your stay, please contact us by email or telephone! We are happy to reserve the boat for you.

GRAND CAFÉ

In a city hotel, you don't want to stay in your hotel room. Especially not once you've seen the Grand Café, the heart of our hotel and a bustling meeting place for Liwwadders. The place where you start your morning with a Frisian breakfast and at the end of the day sink into a lounge chair and enjoy a delicious glass of wine.
