In this major exhibition, you will discover how people lived, worshipped, and traveled during the seventh and eighth centuries. Drawing on archaeological masterpieces from the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia as well as new scientific research the Fries Museum brings to life one of the least-known chapters in the history of Northwest Europe.
Het Fries Museum maakt zich op voor een epische tentoonstelling. In REDBAD: de legendarische koning komt het Frisia van de 7e en 8e eeuw: een Noordzeegebied wat zich uitstrekte van de Nederlandse tot de Noord-Duitse kust en het Utrechtse rivierengebied, als nooit tevoren tot leven. Van 5 september 2026 t/m 7 februari 2027 te zien.
