Indoor Friesland
From October 9 to 17, 2026, the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden will be entirely dedicated to Indoor Friesland. Following a fantastic comeback, the 45th edition of Friesland’s premier equestrian event is back on the calendar.
The program features both national and international dressage and show jumping competitions. Dressage competitions at the CDI3* level—covering both lower and higher levels—will take place from October 9 to 11. Show jumping classes at National, CSI1*, and CSI3* levels are scheduled for October 15 to 17. In addition, spectators in the stands can enjoy spectacular shows, harness horses, and, of course, the Friesian horse.
Visitors can take a break from the thrilling action in the main arena and unwind in the atmospheric 'Strodorp' (Straw Village). During Indoor Friesland, the Strodorp serves as a hub where the equestrian community gathers and the sector's latest innovations and developments are showcased. It is the perfect place to experience the equestrian lifestyle while enjoying a bite to eat and a drink.
