SPARK
The first weekend of November light art work SPARK. The national premiere of globally phenomenal light art work SPARK will take place in Leeuwarden on the first weekend of November. Imagine; a swarm of thousands of twinkling lights swirling up along the iconic Oldehove. It floats and sparkles and has an almost hypnotic effect. Artist Daan Roosegaarde was inspired by the magical light of fireflies and so developed this artwork of biodegradable sparks as an eco-alternative to fireworks, which is a celebration for everyone!
