125 Years of Escher
The iconic graphic artist spent his early years in the city palace that now houses the Princessehof Ceramics Museum. The city is celebrating this anniversary in several ways, including a route along seven 3D artworks by Leon Keer, Massina, Remko van Schaik and Ruben Poncia. The artworks can be seen from June through October.
Follow the route along the works. You can start or end (or just crisscross the route) at Keramiekmuseum Princessehof. In fact, the Princessehof has a wonderful exhibition dedicated to M.C. Escher. On June 17, Escher's birthday, the route will be festively opened and the Princessehof will be free to visit!
